#ThroughMyWindow – Reflecting on the Current Moment

This prompt was inspired by the Civic Engagement Project:
#ThroughMyWindow uses the window as a metaphor that invites people to look past their immediate spatially-constrained reality and reflect more calmly and deeply on how they are connecting to the past, experiencing the present, and anticipating the future.
Make note of what you want your future-self to remember. To build a sense of connection, we then encourage people to share their reflections with others and through this help build the #ThroughMyWindow collection, capturing the mundane, yet poignant, poetry of the current moment. Your creations can be part of this collection if you wish. See link for more detail.

When I responded to this prompt I used a metaphor for the lenses I use to view the world – as a mother, a teacher, etc. What “windows” do you use to study the world? What do you see through those windows?
