Writing Across America in 2020
In the spring of 2020 when America was locked down and travel either forbidden or difficult, nine National Writing Project sites collaborated to offer a virtual writing marathon taking writers of all ages from around the world on a tour of different regions of the United States with the goal of offering writing inspiration. Each site offered a unique curated perspective of the places, people, and words and then each week during the 2020 #WriteAcrossAmerica marathon writers gathered via Zoom to explore the invitations and to write together.
