As the end of LexPoMo draws nigh I’m embroiled in the push-pull of life/work and poetry. I don’t have the time/energy to poet every day and yet there are still poems simmering in my notebook. Can I bring them to a boil in time? Today’s poem, Tadpoles, began simmering with my students in the fall and with that post I’ve resolved to start no more new poems this month, but will it be true?
