Transliteracy: (re)Writing Your Students’ Literacy Journeys
In this session, we will craft protest signs and slam poetry as we rewrite the literacy narrative assignment into an argument supported by research and personal narrative. The traditional literacy narrative has always been a powerful tool for exploring individual literacy journeys, but today’s literacy narrative must embrace multiple literacies.
