After a two-month break to allow everyone to wrap up the academic year, Write Across America kicked off its summer series with a wonderful stop in South Dakota where we discovered this state is so much more than Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and Wall Drug. We explored sculptures, murals, historic sites, and sacred places through our writing.
