Waiting for Godot

The Rebel Cartographers have been talking about the most recent Broadway staging of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot for weeks because one of our writers (Ann Haney) was able to go on her own excellent adventure to see the show and enjoy amazing backstage privileges because of her personal connection to Alex Winter.

There are all sorts of interesting writing invitations offered by this production, the backstory and friendship, the staging, the promotion (Stephen Colbert), the reviews (Guardian and Deadline) and of course the essential text itself. These explorations fit in well with our recent writing inspiration (Humanity and History plus What Stories do you love?) and so for this week let us consider: What invitations to write can you find via Waiting for Godot, Alex Winter, and Keanu Reeves?
