I’ve recently been reading Edith Hamilton’s Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes and so Icarus is fresh on my mind, but today’s LexPoMo poem (Icarus) is in fact an ekphrastic poem inspired by the featured image.
The poems I gathered today feel very much of this moment in time but I am finding hope in their heart:
- Flood
- Is it wrong to feel emotionally attached to a fossil fuel when its presence kinda brought about the rise and fall of your hometown?
- Poet Tree
- The Poor
- Buzz
What is weighing on your mind or heart today? Just write it out!
