Massachusetts
Write Across America continued its Fall 2024 writing marathon with a stop in Massachusetts — adding yet another new state to the Write Across America map. If you want to join the Write Across America community sign up here. Visit our map to check out all the stops on our five year (and counting) tour of America.
Our visit to Massachusetts was centered on poets and their work and lives to guide us around the Commonwealth finding inspiration with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Sylvia Plath, Sojourner Truth, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Lucy Terry Prince, Frederick Goddard Tuckerman, and the stories of both immigrant peoples and indigenous peoples. Please explore our story map of Massachusetts to find your writing inspiration and do not forget to share your writing with us.
