In keeping with our recent challenge to hack Ekphrasis Poetry by writing about food and other homely objects, rather than the works of art usually the focus of Ekphrasis Poetry, why not lift a line or image from Joy Harjo’s Perhaps the World Ends Here (watch and listen to her reading the words here). This was a very popular prompt for the Morehead Writing Project community as we were inspired by the rhythm of the language and images.
Don’t forget to share your writing using the #JustWrite hashtag and check out a new writing community the Morehead Writing Project formed to support us during these trying times.
