Where do you find inspiration from Las Vegas? The people, the gambling, the desert, the myths, the history?
This week the Just Write Virtual Writing Group enjoyed the second stop on its 7-week journey with the National Writing Project’s Write Across America virtual writing marathon (you can sign up here). Each week we will revisit the invitation offered by the host site and the writing generated at the Tuesday event to find new inspiration and/or extend writing begun earlier in the week.
The July 5 stop was hosted by the Southern Nevada Writing Project and invited us to visit Las Vegas. Our visit opened with the famous Las Vegas ad campaign “What Happens Here…” and asked us to consider
What’s something from life that you wish would have happened in Las Vegas…and stayed there….for example – a failed test, a bad pickup line, awkward blind dates…
